Hi,
Why don't users in Dedicated group have permission to reply in the sub-forums of What is the purpose of this community? except in New member introductions?

Though, its possible to open a new topic (like I did) but is not possible to reply in the root of What is the purpose of this community? (which is kind of interesting).

Hi Caprie,

Thanks for your question!

For your information: non of the user groups (except the 'moderators') are able to post in the first 2 sub-sections of the first forum section.

EDIT: And I can add that so far ALL USERGROUPS (except the 'moderators' of course) have exactly the same permissions.

I choose for that concept in order to be able to inform members about important issues.

But if you have suggestions or questions, you are are very welcome to share those with us publically: you can do that in the major-section of the first forum section.

Have I answered your question properly?

Hi Martijn,
Thank you for your answer. Ok I get that about don't having permission in some parts of the forum. Just find it confusing that we can start new topics, but can't reply to it, even in our own topics.

You didn't really expect me to reply to you in the same topic? ;-)

But ok, if it can't, need to start a new topic each time...
