Hi, I've been studying palmistry for many years, but not till I read johnny fincham's book, 'palmistry apprentice to pro in 24 hours' did I start to practice it. The author has a totally different approach to palmistry to all the others which I found much easier to follow - for instance, he says the fate line (which he calls the lifepath line) is not about career, but about our character, goals and sense of self - is this true? My fate line is very faint, and I've never really known what I want to do - until I read this book that is, now I want to be a palmist! I've found that those without a lifepath line or fate line, are lacking in direction and seem to want to just be famous or to get wealthy with no real knowledge of how to do this. Johnny Fincham says when this line is weak you get very shallow personalities who are often in very stressful careers, but when the line's strong you get strong characters who work towards their own life choices and don't let anyone else influence them. Do other readers agree with this? thanks for your help in advance, I'm a new member on this forum.

Johnny Fincham's 'Palmistry: Apprentice to Pro in 24 Hours' is currently THE best-seller in the field, see:
http://www.handresearch.com/book/palmistry-top-100-amazon-books.htm

(Last summer I observed that for this title more than 50% more copies have been sold than any other title in the Palmistry Books TOP 100 - according sales numbers presented by Amazon)

However, the feedback of experts indicates that Fincham's first title 'The Spellbinding Power of Palmistry' could very weel be his best book so far, and actually... there are many other titles which have received more recommendations from the experts.

The TOP 10 most recommended books are list here:

I hope this info is useful?

Hi Knox Gillespie,

Thanks for the suggestion. Only one of Jaquin's titles is listed in the Palmstry Books TOP 100: 'Man's Revealing Hand' is currently (summer of 2012) ranked as the no.78, and one other title 'Practical Palmistry' has been nominated by one of the 28 international experts that I have consulted so far.

I can confirm the significance of Jaquin's work (e.g. some authors have recommended his for his scientific approach), but I think his work is outdated - basically because many case studies in Jaquin's work relate to medical- and psychological problems that have been re-defined in time (beyond the fact that his work was written more than 50 years ago).

Anyway, thanks for mentioning Jaquin's name! Thumbs up!

Thanks!
