Long overlaps and changes in lifelines.
I would like to know more about life lines.
How much can they change? Such as I know a weak one can become stronger, but can it move much? ie; a life line that is closer to the thumb move outward so it is more full and reaching across to the centre of the palm? Or verse visa ?
Also, I am trying to understand overlaps. My own hand has a overlap which runs for about an inch. The original line runs and then flicks off towards (with a secondary line connecting) with the fate line.
On the inside (towards the thumb) a new line (which seems to come from a flick out from the mars line) starts and follows closely to the original line but for about a whole inch long before the original line tapers off.
There is also a long island on the original line that goes about half way along the overlap , and some stress lines which go through the island area and start of second/continuation of line line.
I have seen other life lines with breaks and the overlaps do not seem as big. Most only go for a few millimetres.
Can I please have an explanation what long overlaps mean?
ETA: Just to correct myself, I have been looking and think the line I refered to as the Mars line is infact not that, but probably a 2nd life line or sister line?

Hi Foxymoron,
Can you pls post a picutre? It will be very easy to answer.
A overlapping line indicates a gradual shift in the lifestyle, a movement, becoming more of a outgoing or very stable peson etc. All depends on lines.
Warm regards,
Kiran

Re: Long overlaps and changes in lifelines.
Hi, thanks do much for your reply Kiran.
I have posted my hands when I first joined the forum here
http://www.modernhandreadingforum.com/t1516-here-are-my-hands-and-a-few-questions-d
My life lines are very weak, so hard to photo. If they are not clear enough in the ones already provided, let me know and I will take better ones specifically of the area I am asking about.

Re: Long overlaps and changes in lifelines.
Hi Foxymoron,
It is shifting out in left hand and shifting in in right hand.
It is fainter compared to other lines.
Life line indicates - stability, being grounded, desire to travel around, family etc.
A break and overlap indicates, a gradual shift in any or all of these things in your life.
Since, they are faint compared to other lines, it indicates that you're in need of plenty of phsyical energy or your energy is more dissipated in thinking, feeling etc.
Are you a person, who keep moving around or changing the things around you? You're not strongly fixed to a life style or location? And this break and overlap indicates, there is a significant shift in your family, life, place?
On the personal front(left hand), this has been advantageous to you. The overlap is less and it is looking good after change. Did you finally, settle with your family at a place? You're feeling secure with your family?
On the right had, its gradual and overlping: You have not yet been fixed with your outward, social life. You're not very outgoing, infact, you might have withdrawn a little more?
Is this helpful?
Warm regards,
Kiran

Re: Long overlaps and changes in lifelines.
Thank you Kiran.
I can PM you if want feedback, but it does make sense what you have said.
Let me know.
I am having trouble trying to work out the time line within the life line.
I think at 35 I am currently probably right around the area where the island ends (well it looks like an island but also looks like a very close running sister line?) on the right hand.
Do you have any suggestions of ages along my line?
Am I correct in thinking that from what you have said that my circumstances have or will improve?

Thank you Foxymoron. No, PM is not required. Feedback is just to cross confirm my understanding and it boosts the confidence or gives an opporunity for learning.
Yes, seems like 35 of age is where this would all come to end(Right hand). What circumstances are you asking about? What I mentioned is about becoming stable, at home, being with family etc. If this is what is you're referring then YES. And this is all is w.r.t. to the personal front( Left hand).
Was this useful?
Thank you,
Warm regards,
Kiran
