Geneticist interested in association between palm lines and health

Hello all,
I've been really interested to find out how associations have been found between the lines of the hand and genetics/health. I would like to learn more and hope to do so through this forum. I'm a SAHM now but research my various interests.

Maybe you can specify a little bit more how far you have gotten so far in your research... and I would also be interested to hear a little bit more about what made you wonder about this specific topic as a geneticist?
