Predictive palmistry Vs. Psycho diagnostic cheirology

Post  sundar on Tue Sep 04, 2012 12:18 am

Hello Mr.Martijn and Mrs. Lynn,

do you have evidence to prove your theories ( character reading, psyco diagnosti palmistry) are scientifical? This cannot become scientific because of the only reason that few western palmists have written book on it. Almost maximum number of peoples in this forum give predictive reading everyday or atleast support it. But we could not find your methods of so called modern techniques . It stays only at theoretical level. Can you apply psycho diagnostic methods to peoples who come with their palm pictures in this forum everyday? If you do single example everyday with successful outcome, we can atleast try to believe your theories. Otherwise, It will remain theory as it is. But there will be no practical values to those stuffs. This simple facts help us to understand the dominancy and prevalancy of predictive palmistry . No variation of western or eastern peoples in regard to it. Everybody ask for future reading. Practically, There is no exceptional to it. But I wonder on your evidentless arguments. Arguments are all about " who is right " . Discussions are all about " what is right ". We dont want the arguments. We need discussion with examples by you to read atleast one people's hand every day by using your modern method. But so far, It has not done. Also, The readings should not be based on possibilities. But, It should be stable enough especially when you say it scientifical. Thanks.

hi Sundar wave
Thanks for starting a new topic. It is very late here now, but I just wanted to acknowledge this thread before I go to Sleep and will reply tomorrow.
PS(by the way, Martijn & I are not students of Arnold Holtzman's psycho-diagnostic cheirology, so maybe we'll move this thread to another sub-forum tomorrow?)

It sounds like saying that since noone is the student of Arnold hotzmann, we should not have exclusive section for pscho diagnostic cheirology. Again it goes towards arguments rather than finding the truths...

Some people are the students of Arnold Holtzman. This section is for people who want to discuss Arnold Holtzman's work.
I have his book but I have never studied under his teachings. I don't think Martijn studied with Arnold either. Hence if your questions to us are about psychodiagnostic chirology, we are probably not the people to answer on this thread. But I think you ask some questions that we could answer under another topic heading.

Hello Lynn,

The question is all about how Arnold holtzman's psycodiagnostic cheirology wll help peoples who ask for palm reading in this forum. I am asking about the practical value of his theories. Not just discussing his theories.

ok Sundar maybe I misunderstood you when you asked in first post
"Mrs. Lynn,...do you have evidence to prove your theories....."
because these are Arnold's theories, not mine!

Hi Sundar,
I guess you may be feeling you're getting a run around here as Martijn told you to start a new topic and copy and paste your questions to him. You posted it here in a section of the forum that as Lynn is pointing out relates to one person's, Arnold Holtzmann's, work.

His is just one school of thought. There are many others before him who have written about the hands in a more psychological way. Charlotte Wolff and Julius Spier among several well known authors from earlier last century and Nathaniel Altman is another from more recent times.

So, in reality, this particular section of the forum relating to Arnold Holtzmann doesn't relate to the discussion that was raised today.

It's a housekeeping thing.

Miss or mrs is a unnecessary question here. Though i am glad that if you're still miss.

Let wait until any palmist come up withpractical part of these theories.

Hello patti, Since there are so many theories explained by various authors, eachone of us tend to follow different methods. It is the cause for confusion in palmistry.so let thiscussion continue with psycho diagnostic cheirology. I try to disscuss other models in another new discussion if time permits somedays later. This is to avoid only confusions.
