basic questions about the thumbs Empty basic questions about the thumbs

the thumb is the most important finger, so I have some questions I like to be answered.

  1. Has someone with a long thumb in principle more free will than someone with a short one?
  2. What is the difference between a supple lower phalange, a supple upper phalange and all fingers supple?
  3. In terms of dominance what is the difference between a long thumb and a long index finger?
  4. Does a thin lower phalange refer to being tactful, or to being spontaneous?
  5. Does a thick thumb refer to strong but gross, and a thin thumb refer to subtle but lenient?

Long thumb indicates more wisdom i.e. longer than normal. I saw it in the palm of a lady. If short thumb which does not reach upto the centre of the third phalange of the Jupitor Finger where the thumb is medium setting then that person things with the heart.

supplessness shows flexibility in approach to everything in life. Independent type of person. This is if such a thumb is more than 90 Degrees to the Index finger. All fingers supple will again flexibilty. Such a person will be very convincing to the others.

Long Index Finger will show Leadership qualities amongst many things. I have already mentioned what a Long Thumb means.

Lower Phalange of the thumb when curved inwards shows a person who does not rub anyone on the wrong side i.e. he is Diplomatic.

Normally when all fingers including thumb is thick one of the qualities that person possess is he is Intuitive. And if the thumb along with or without other fingers is/are thin then the person will think about Self first.

P.K.

That might make sense. Someone who knows how to use his willpower, also has got more willpower.

Maybe when the fingers are supple, also the whole thumb is supple, and vice versa.

This could imply that a long thumb has a tendency to the desire to dominate, and a long index finger has the innate capability to dominate.

Is he diplomatic out of fear?

You tell things that are not in the western books. I suppose this is indian palmistry wisdom.

Most of the matter is explained in William Benham's Book "The laws of the scientific hand reading"
Long Thumb if the first phalange is longer than the second one then will power is more. Flexible fingers show a person brilliant in excess that he is not successful eventually as his thoughts run in all directions. Long and strong thumb is more superior than the Long Index Finger as the thumb controls all the fingers since it can cover all the fingers by wrapping round the fingers. Fingers cannot do that.

Diplomacy is never out of fear. The nature of such a person is he never rubs the other on the wrong side and hence he gets his work done through diplomacy.

Only the wisdom part of the long thumb I read it in Cheiro's Book .
