How will you measure the duration of a relationship? Normally people ask whether they shall have a good partner and the partner will love them and such questions. Never heard anyone asking how long this relationship will last.

Pravin sir

We often time the start of a new affection, but is it not possible that the previous one is also continue.
And the concept of marriage is not so famous in some parts of the world.

I had posted response to this yesterday but do not find it over here. Marriage or relationship or live in relationship has the same importance everywhere in the world. You will find more than 50% persons having problems with marriage, love life etc. One of my clients in Australia, a German Lady, has a BF (she is 50 and divorced). She looks after this man, provides for him, he lives free in her house without paying anything. Now she says he is moving with another lady. She is very suspicious by nature and when her BF is away from her she always imagines he maybe with another lady. See the problems to her heart.

This happens to many persons of whichever culture they maybe for love is love, attachment is attachment and you cannot do without it. Having one wife and romancing with another lady is so risky because once the wife comes to know about her husband's extra affair or even the other lady comes to know he is married then the man is in serious problems. So to be happy he has to be married or have live in relationship only once..

Let me put it differently Pravin Ji

A person is in relationship since the age of 20.
The relation culminates in marriage with the same person at 28 years.

What do you expect the relationship lines to be like
1) A single line at 20 years or
2) A single line at 28
3) or both of the lines( one denoting affection and other marriage)

I hope my question is clear.

Re: relationship lines

Relationship lines appear when the feelings are deep and hence relative relationship line. If the feelings are superficial or casual like persons coming into your life at young age during school or college life rarely lasts so the relationship line comes and it could be dim or even deep but short thus ending the relationship soon. So when the relationship line appears prominently you already know that person, whether you may marry that year or even after 10 years it does not matter, The relationship line has to be deep and straight and well cut deeply in the skin from the time you come across that person.

So in the above scenerio you would expect a strong deep line at 20 yr and no line at 28 when he married ?

Is that what you expect?
Then how would you comment on marriage age without
Looking at other lines or asking directly from the person.

Secondly, is it not possible that you may interpret 20 as the actual age of marriage rather than 28 when it actually happened.?

Rajeev,

No reading is given only on the basis of one indication. We require confirmation elsewhere and the point you are referring to how many boys or girls get into relationship first and wait 5 or 10 years to get married unless they do not want to marry? Just think of the percentage of this and the other ones especially in a country like ours.

So it need not be a marriage also but definitely someone has come into your life at the age the relationship line represents with age indications found elsewhere on the fate line, life line, head line or any sudden change in any main lines will also indicate persons coming closer.

Thank you Pravin ji. Over a period of time with my limited experience i have come to a belief that the affection lines are difficult to read correctly and sometimes misleading too.

It is difficult to read true but with lots of practise at least you can predict what type of person is coming in the life of the holder of those lines and whether the relationship/union will be strong or not?

Union/ Marriage Line

Post  Parender on Wed Feb 03, 2016 5:20 am

I believe in the principle that Union in the hand is not to be understood as meaning only Legal Union. “Marriage is an act of legally uniting a man and woman in wedlock through a marriage ceremony”- this is according to the Webster dictionary. Marriage is an institution established by the Church, Temple, Gurudwars and state law and does not always represent emotion. Union has broader meaning in Palmistry and therefore every horizontal line there at the percussion cannot denote Legal Marriage.

I have studied and read the hands of many persons who were married, but, had no or very faint Marriage Lines on their hands. This shows that the marriage has not influenced them or had very little effects on them and that the marriages were of convenient and comforts, and that warmth of love is lacking there in between of them. I have never seen this occurrence on a woman’s hand, but have seen this type of line in a number of times on the men’s hands. Marriage does not affect every person in the same way. It depends on person to person as how he or she reacts to this.

If you see one deep clear and unbroken long Union Line with a good Heart Line supported by good Head Line, then you will know these truths to be self-evident of Marriage in a responsible person. These lines are sometimes seen in the hands of the persons who have not really entered into the wedlock, but this happen when the subject has loved truly as fondly strongly as if he had been joined in wedlock. In such subject a line of union reveals the same as the ceremony had been performed. In fact these deep lines are the lines of deep affection on the hands rather than lines of marriages. It will be more appropriate if these lines are viewed from this standpoint.

No marker is absolute on the palms of the hands because everything affects everything. Study of other aspects are important especially the position of Heart Line and Fate line which helps you understand that how the person takes it; the person is loving much feeling strong for the partner saying happily "O Yeah! this is the life I wanted" or carrying on the relationship which is almost dead having a sad experience. It depends on many factors including his/her soul psychology. The formula is very simple if it is in your hand it should be in your life.

rajeevkrsharmaji, I am not sure why you posted this question in "Elemental Cheirology" section? because really it has nothing to do with elemental cheirology!

From my own point of view, I don't think we can really tell from the hand about duration of relationships.
Sometimes you can see from markings on the relationship lines combined with markings on lifeline/headline/heartline that there has been a relationship that already ended, but I don't think you can predict it in advance.

Also I think the number of relationship lines tell us nothing about the number of serious relationships. Two examples to demonstrate many similar examples over the years:
My friend had 3 marriages, plus some affairs. She has one relationship line on each hand, which did not change in around 25 years since I first studied palmistry (when she was just starting her 2nd marriage).
A lady of 86 years old had 4 marriage lines. She married the boy next door who she knew from an early age, he was her first and only boyfriend from her age 15, she never had affairs. He was age 91 and they were still together. Realistically at her age I don't think she has time to fit in another 3 serious relationships! Wink So what do her 4 relationship lines tell us about anything?

Thank you Lynn,

Please feel free to move it to the relevant section.
It is possible that affection of any relation( son, daughter) can manifest as a affection line. And i feel that they merely dont represent opposite sex. I have seen such lines in many female palms especially in old age where they may show the attachment to offsprings.

Thanks

Thanks rajeevkrsharmaji, for confirming that these lines are not accurate for predicting number of 'marriage' type relationship.
(by the way I notice the topics are already moved! thanks)

How can affection lines be shown over there if relationship lines are not recognised?
