FORUMOTION PROBLEM at january 26, 2011

Today Forumotion was confronted with a technical problem, which resulted in that some members were not able to get access to the forum during the past few hours.

The nature of the problem appears to be related to IP adress (especially those who do not use a dynamic IP adress); probably only members who loged-in during the first half of today were confronted with the problem (so far I only received any feedback about this problem from Lynn).

Just wondering, did any other member notice the problem?

PS. I tried to inform people about the issue via our forum application at Facebook:

PPS. This was the first technical problem I was confronted with during the past 6 months (since the last major forum layout change in august); the Forumotion software has so far worked excellent.

Hi Martijn,
This morning 7:15 am (New York time) I was not able to log-in, I thought may be it was because I was using Apple. At 9:00 am (New York time) I was able to log-in from my work PC.

I am glad that you was able to fix technical issues, I was worried that there is something wrong with my Apple lop-top Smile

PS. 7.15 New York time was indeed when I was aware of the problem, glad to hear that your were not very long confronted with the problem.

Yesterday I could not access the forum around the same time as Helen (12.30 Uk time).
"Cannot find server" error message.

I also had the same problem today (12.00 mid-day Uk time). I cleared out my cache of temporary internet files & cookies, then I could log in no problem.
I checked the stats & there have been a steady stream of members visiting here since last night, no gap in the times, so I guess that most people can access the forum OK.
