India's High Court says: 'Astrology is a science'...!???

While it is not a public secret that the international scientific community has rejected astrology as a science - recently one of the 21 High Courts - it was the Bombay High Court - has ruled that astrology is not merely a harmless diversion but instead a science, presumably on par with biology, astronomy and physics.
Benjamin Radford - who is e.g. editor of Skeptical Inquirer science magazine and author of Scientific Paranormal Investigation - explains why Astrology has repeatedly been rejected as a science:
http://www.livescience.com/12856-astrology-science-indian-court-ruling.html
"...There are many ways in which astrology is clearly not a scientific enterprise. For example, real sciences (and scientific theories) have predictive power; that is, they can make accurate and valid predictions about the future. Astronomers, for example, can accurately predict a wide variety of celestial events, from the next full moon to the next appearance of Halley's comet (July 28, 2061). Astrology, by contrast, has failed repeated scientific tests for making accurate predictions."
Now, I am wondering... is there a better perspective in the fields of Hand Reading?
While it's a fact that hand reading is only a 'niche' compared to it's much more popular Big Brother Astrology, the perspective of Hand Reading is really different because it directly relates to the biology of the human body.
For example, Professor John Manning was able to produce an almost perfect prediction of an atheletic race based on the study of only 2 fingers - which shows that at least certain aspects of hand reading have a potential to qualify as a 'true' science.
What is your thought? Do you have any specific observations?
