I don't know what square footage means. I do not know anyone who is gay and do not want to, as I would have nothing in common with them. However, I know of a family where the daughter had a relationship with her uncle, mother's brother, and had a son and a daughter with him. The son is gay and the daughter, married, cannot have children. So my thoughts on this is the closeness of blood.

Hello,
Maybe true in some cases, but the gays that I have seen (both male and female) the index and ring fingers have been about the same size, except for one who had a slightly longer ring finger. He was always boastful, dressed up and a kind of a show off. Maybe these types take risks, But just like all hand readings, one sign alone cannot pinpoint the person's personality.

Hi Sari,

Great ... your observation sounds interesting, because in some studies the hands of gay men were reported to have a relatively high 2D:4D ratio; men usuallly have a longer ring finger... so from what you described so far I conclude that your observation for the gay men is confirmed by these studies.

NOTICE: The studies revealed that gay men appear to have a typically 'female-like' finger pattern (which probably makes sense because some gay men tend to talk & express themselves with 'female-like' characteristics); while gay women were reported to have a typically 'male-like' finger pattern.

But I can fully relate to your comment that these patterns are only general patterns, that are for sure not always confirmed (sure... of course there are also many gay men who show typical male characteristics, and many gay women who show typical female characteristics).
