Angle on Thumb
Hello All,
I seem to recall reading that an angle on thumb (at base, between venus mount and 2nd phalange) indicates good timing. Does anyone have additional insight?
Thanks
Boaz

Re: Angle on Thumb
known as "Craftsman's angle" or "angle of dexterity", a well developed knuckle at the base of the thumb shows good sense of rhythm or timing. Rest of the hand shows how it might manifest in the person's life, eg ability in drumming, dance, aerobics, planing wood, - any activity that involves rhythm or timing!

Thanks Lynn
Any suggestions on how to differentiate the different talents, dancing, drumming etc.?

Re: Angle on Thumb
well, everything on the hand depends on everything else....
more earthy may be drumming / planing wood etc
more watery - dance
more fire - aerobics
but I could think of numerous inter-relations
eg dance - more earthy might like to dance to rhythmic reggae or drumbeat, whilst more watery like to dance in a more flowing style, fire to faster beat, etc
sorry boaz, very vague examples, it all depends on the rest of the hand!

Re: Angle on Thumb
I've also read that this angle of manual dexterity can be present in the hands of successful comedians; it does make sense, seeing as well-executed jokes and stories must be driven by good timing.
I read elsewhere that this angle can indicate punctuality, being that the person has a good awareness of time. I'm not so sure about that indication yet though...

Re: Angle on Thumb
Interesting. I have an angled thumb and have found myself quite often, waking one minute before set time onalarm clock, usually for important occasions.
