VII - REPORT: Korean researchers discovered the 'Suwon crease', only observed in males! - Page 11 Suwon-10

One more specification of my worries about the Indian study:

The visual suwon crease variants 2, 3 and 4 in the picture above suggest that when a simian line variant is combined with a fate line that connects with the life line... the Indian researchers would call it a Suwon crease.

The reason why I think this concerns a worrisome element is because this implicitely suggests that a Suwon crease may look very much like a typical simian line variant - which is certainly not the case in the Korean approach at all.

And therefore I think the Indian researchers may have misunderstood the descriptions presented by the Korean researchers - though I realize: if I am correct about this, this probably relates to how the Koreans presented their innovations; e.g. because they have presented an arbitrary description of the Suwon crease which is quite hard to understand. For example, it would have been much more clear if they had described explicitely whether they consider an 'extended distal crease' as a Suwon crease variant... or not!? Because a large part of this topic would probably not have taken place if this question had been answered by the content in the Korean article.

But I also would like to add a positive observation regarding the Indian way of presentation:

An aspect which I like very much in the Indian approach is that they present for all normal, simian line, Sydney line, and Suwon crease variants specifications for the branches involved - e.g. by the introduction of a new concept: the 'recurrent branch'.

No problem at all Patti.

By the way, regarding the system that I presented:

VII - REPORT: Korean researchers discovered the 'Suwon crease', only observed in males! - Page 11 Common-hand-lines-uncommon

Maybe it is interesting to notice that the percentages which the Korean researchers found for the Suwon crease (0.5%) and the Indian researchers found for the 'extended distal crease' (2.4%, which they speculatively described as 4 Suwon crease variants)... these percentages obviously show similarities with the percentages that I have presented earlier this year in may as indicates percentages for a Dutch population: 0.5% for the Suwon crease, and 3% for the 'extended heart line'.

Hello Driftingpetra,

No, you do not have the Suwon crease.

In your right hand you have simian line variant featured with in interrupted heart line (the lower branch of the heart line creates the simian line variant); in your left hand you have a splitting head line.

I have made a brand new effort to describe (and define) the essence of a Suwon crease visually:

The picture below e.g. describes the essential difference between the (rare) 'true' Suwon crease - labelled as a 'true suwon line' - and the (much more common) 'pseudo suwon line'.

See the two variants at the bottom of the picture on the right side.

To,
Martijn,

I do not know about the Sydney and the Suwon lines, but I could shed some light on the Simian line by personal experience. TRUE and PSEUDO are scientific terms for naming and convenience which is important. But these terms do not make either of them inferior or superior. the True Simian indicates its function by birth and the so- called Pseudo Simian has formed at a particular period of the person's life. But both the meanings are same. All highly spiritual people have this line either by birth or the Heart line joins the Head line at a later date when they are called for a single Life purpose. Once these two lines merge, their past activities are meaningless.

Hello rajashri,

I agree that both variants (TRUE/PSEUDO) represent likewise meaningfulness, and I agree that both variants should not get associated with 'inferior' or 'superior'.

However, both variants represent an inborn characteristic (only some of the details might fluctuate during a life time, but this will vary from person to person).

Finally... sorry, I think it is quite unlikely that any type of simian/Sydney/Suwon line respresents any connection with 'spirituality'.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

 Thanks!

Hello PS (pradeep),

Regarding your 2nd question: in my view individual lines do not represent any specified meaning.

I am sorry, all I can say is that for me your 1st question is far too general to give you any specified answer.

But thanks for asking!

Hi Martijn,

Thanks for your reply. I have a very clear suwon Crease in my right hand. I only want to know what is the general impact of this crease in a life balance. I feel I'm very conservative, have very less friend, have less social engagement.

Kindly reply.

Hi PS,

Again, the line (Suwon crease) has likely no specified meaning at all - so characteristics which you mentioned to describe yourself are likely not related to this line.

Looks like basketball superstar Michael Jordan has the Suwon crease in his right hand (in his left hand the line appears not long enought & too weak to call it a true Suwon crease???):

The Suwon crease has now also been identified to represent a significant factor for the Big Five personality dimensions Agreeableness; Suwon crease remnants have been spotted in the hands of quite a few Agreeableness high scorers [A+], see the upper pair of hands in the picture below (on the right side).

More details have been reported inside this 2017 article - including a detailed proposal for how to recognize a Suwon crease via a series of 5 aspects:

Hand constellations in Agreeable personalities!

The Suwon crease is now also featured in the Hand Sign Tutor:

Now I can finally confirm that Michael Jordan for sure does have a Suwon crease; the structure of the  radial part of the Suwon construction may look a little weak... but it appears actually stronger than the ulnar part of his head line.

An example of a 'Suwon crease 1' variant for his right hand; regarding his left hand. no Suwon crease there... only a remnant (that is lacking in length).

New studies available with an analysis of Suwon crease variations:

• Major hand signs & the General Factor of Personality (a.k.a. 'trait EQ')
• Aberrant Transverse Flexion Creases point towards: 'Low Personality Plasticity' (= cognitive inflexibility)

The 2nd article summarizes the following tendencies to be most consistent for the Suwon line in the perspective of personality:

"Suwon lines: low cognitive flexibility, and low Extraversion"
