Hello Every one.
Hi Everyone,
I am Raman from India.I have been a member of previous post run by Sue although not an active one.I thank Martijn for starting this new forum and all others who actively share their views on all aspects on The Science of Palmistry .
To begin with, I have been fascinated by this science since 11 years from now .Richard Webster’s palmistry for Beginners was my first book to a whole lot of Books that followed in the following years till now.
Many a times I had to visit murky places to look for some old outdated editions of books whose value can only a Palmistry enthusiast understand. Also during all these time I have visited many palmists throughout India and shared their views on it. Some have made fascinating predictions (Some have come true also, for some I am waiting). But I find most of them to link palmistry with Horary Astrology whereby your name, place of birth and time is asked. To flourish as a science entity Palmistry has to flourish as a different aspect not to be linked with astrology.
Although not a professional palmist like most in this forum I try to understand the science in whatever little time I get to squeeze out of my work schedule.
Palmistry I believe is a fascinating science and we have merely scratched the surface of this science. I hope this forum and the learned ones on this forum shall help to make it worthy of being called a “Science”
Regards
Raman
