Marking and Symbols Sings In hand

Hello all
i suppose lot of books have talked about signs, markings and symbols in hand.
Like for example
1 - Square in hand
2 - Cross in hand
3- Star in hand
4- trident in hand
5- Fish symbol in hand
6- Grilles in hand
7- Traingle in hand
8 - Circle in hand
9 - Verical Lines in hand.
How these symbols play a role, like i have heard a square in a quadrangle (I think it is from Germain or Benham or katakkar) can remove imperfection on the heart line or headline when the square touches either or both lines.
Also symbols formed independently and formed due to formation of other lines.
Anybody who has experience on these can probably explain about these symbols and Signs. Lot of these are interpreattions and once discussed can bring some more insights.
