Thanks for your reply, so these habitual patterns are not permament patterns (like palmar and finger prints), these would be lines, accesory lines, signs ect.. i would appreciate if you could explain on this . Thanks once again.

Our fingerprints & palmar dermatoglyphics play a part in who we are, our personality, our behaviour, as do the lines, handshape and eveything else. So you'd look at all aspects of the hand to see people's habitual patterns of behaviour.
