Hello everybody
Please allow me a moment to introduce myself. My palm reading experience is basically nil. (at this point!). I did a class recently that has whet the appetite and have since done a bit of reading - which I might add - seems to be going in one ear and out the other!
As you might expect - the reading (both in books and web) has probably caused more issues that not, given that there are numerous variations on a theme - and let's say - well much of what is written seems to be complete contradictions!
Being a visual person - I think it is important for me to 'see' what is going on so the looking at actual hands is going to be very important - however, I feel I want to be looking at hands that are accompanied with an explanation coming from experience, rather than just hoping the book I have chosen to interpret from is indeed worth something.
The other thing I feel is quite important is to be able to see this all unfold in my own hands in order to get context on the subject. (This I am not having much success at!) (I have read tarot cards for many years so am quite good at 'standing back and seeing the big picture' and being objective about self. I dont feel the problem of me 'not seeing' what is there in my own hand comes from, I dont like what I hear, for example - it is more I dont know what I am really looking at or what I am looking for.)
I guess this is where I am thinking the pics on this forum will assist in assimilating information. So in the short term - please be patient with me! There is a genuine desire to learn.
Kind regards

Re: Hello everybody
Hello Min,
Thank you for your introduction post!
By the way, I am happy to hear that you understood not to accept anything written in books.... because as your experience grows, you will probably find out that books sometimes present theories that contradict with theories written in other books.
I hope you will enjoy your stay at this forum.
(And please don't hesitate to ask for our experience and/or opinions regarding what your books say!)
Greetings from The Netherlands!
