Combining Palmistry with Science

Hello I'm new to this forum,

I wanted to raise a topic that involves a recent phenomena that is happening.
Shinzen Young, an American Vipassana meditation teacher, has spoken of combining western science with eastern science and there have already been studies that involve devices that read the brain waves of Buddhist monks and there have already been some interesting findings involving that. In his program "The Science of Enlightenment" Shinzen speaks of the similarities of some of the concepts in physics and the common experiences of long time meditators.

Also in Russia scientists have been researching palmistry, a Mathematician named Karen Mhitorian claims that our palms don't just tell our abstract future, they actually show genetically encoded information about the course of our lives and says to have found a way to change fate as he calls it, I've studied his findings and have been doing a couple of things with my clients that had some interesting results.

I would like to discuss this topic, both the combining of palmistry and science and the more general topic of combining mysticism with science.
I am also in a way promoting myself because this is a part of what I do but the whole topic in general I find is interesting.
