Is this whorl or composite whorl
Sorry if picture is not clear enough, I will attempt to get another if necessary. Can I have some opinions on this whorl? Thanks. It just looked a little composite in the middle piece.

Re: Is this whorl or composite whorl
Hi Sari,
I don't see two separate cores inside, so it would be a whorl.

Thanks Patti. I didn't think so either, but was doubting myself.Patti wrote:Hi Sari,

What about this one. I also wondered if anyone believes in the theory of the composite whorl on the pikie to depict possible bi-sexuality?

Yes Sari, it's a plain whorl.
(It has 2 cores, but the 'shoulders' are connected and therefore one can no speak of 2 independent patterns inside this whorl)

This one is much more complicated, but it's a loop.
(It includes some irregularities in the center: merging/splitting ridges & terminating ridges; but there are no 'whorling' ridges. And there is also no combination of two independent pattern, therefore it can also not be describes as an accidental whorl)
Re: Is this whorl or composite whorl
Hi Sari,
In mine opinion it is a looppattern with a small double loop as centre. This pattern suggests a combination of the properties of the loop and double loop. It is important to determine which pattern is dominant. The larger the loop, the stronger the properties of the looppattern.

Hi Magda!

I too agree about reading the combination of it's properties!
What I also found interesting is that triradius has become located almost centrally in the little finger's fingertip! There are an unusual number of horizontal ridges below the pattern as well.
The pattern with it's bit of a double loop, bit of tented arch and bit of loop, sort of contains within itself the elements of all of these. I'd need to read it in combination with other features, but in and of it self, I think it could relate to some kind of extra awareness. On a good hand this could be a gift, but on a bad one maybe relating to coping on a personal level. What do you think?

Re: Is this whorl or composite whorl
I hope that I understand you.What do I think?
The loop is not so complicated, I have seen it more. My knowledge interpretation is. A looppatern has always one triradius, whatever the centering. But this loop is located just high on the finger which means the talent is more on the spiritual plane. And yes all special talents can use good or bad.

Yes that was my question to you.
Interesting to think about the higher position adding a more spiritual energy.
