Hello friends,

Puruda samudrika lakshana, 1890 is a tamil book written around the year1890, deals about the body parts and markings of the males. Below i have given the translation of the 1st page of this book.

LET LORD.KANAPATHI WITH ME.

( Lord.subramaniya taught this divine lessons to the sage.agastya)

Praise the lord.

Thalaiyu mezhir puruda saamudrikaa
Vilayu lakshanathai mela mozhiyavarum
iinthura nalvaayarun mummatha miruthaal
amathoru kotakkalittrin monbu.
- venba

Among the many parts of a male body, 32 are considered to be greatest.

In that, Five should be long,five soft, six high, seven red, three broad, three short, and three deep.

Eyes, hand, cheek, foreleg, and nose - These 5 should be long.

Hair, fingers, nails, skin, and teeth - These 5 should be soft.

Forehead, shoulder, abdomen, armpit, chest, backside of the hand- These 6 should be high.

Lateral Corner of the
Eye, palm, nail, mouth, penis, sole, and lips- These 7 should be red in color.

Chest and both testis - These 3 should be broad.

Neck, lower part of foreleg, penis - These three should be shortish.

Middle of the chest, lower portion of forehead, and navel - These three should be deep

If the above features found without any defects, HE will be a crown-prince.

APart from the above, LEt us see the result of the appearance of body parts of ordinary men in following chapters.

*Head*

Men with round and big head, will be rich.
Men with round and small head, will be handsome and wealthy.
Men with elongated head, will be pauper.

*Hair*

Men with Sparse hair will experience the situations of spending lots of money- Hence, spendthrift and also indicates to not enjoying his bread and butter.
Men with Thick and dark coloured hair will be wealthy.
Men with Thick and red coloured hair will be pauper.
Men who have elephant's hair alike hair, will have diseases and wealth.
Men with Densed hair will be having full longevity.
Men with short and reddish coloured hair will be having increase sexuality.
Men with curly hair will be looking odd and experience the situations to spend less amount of money.
Men with very long hair will be blamed much by others.

*Hair swirl on the head*

Men who possess single right-swirl on the center of head will be rich.(Tamil word - Athiga sampathulavan - rich)
Men who possess single left-swirl on the left side will be pauper.
Men who possess double left-swirls on the left side will experience poverty till the end of his life.
Men who possess right-swirl
on the left side will have full longevity.
Men who possess right-swirl on the right side will be having abundance of wealth.
Men who possess three left-swirls on the left side will lose his father and mother soon.
Men who possess Triple left swirls united together, like the resemblance of an Toad's eye will be incised ( Tamil: vetupaduvaan - person who get cuts)
Person who have one right-swirl and one left-swirl will lead poverty in life for some days, and riches for some other days.

P.S:- Right-swirl refers to clock wise swirl
Left-swirl refers to Anti- clock wise swirl

1. sampathulavan means rich.
2. Ayul pariyantham means till the end of the life.

Stalin, by the way... does this book also describe more details for the hand?

(I am wondering - because so far your post especially appears to relate to other body parts!??)

I thought about many aspects before translating this book. They are

1. some says that knowledge on divination should not go to the hands of wrong peoples. because, They may mis-use this knowledge for their materialistic benefit. For example, A sexual maniac may choose and cheat many girls
after knowing their character through this divination. similarly, A thief can identify the idiot and cheat particular persons. On the other hand, some says " There is no bigger in the three world other than sharing the knowledge of divination through a book. These are few reason why many professional divination followers keep this knowledges secret.

2. is about copyright license. I see no copyright license in this book and now this book is out of print. I dont think that re-print was done after 1890.

3. This is the international forum. so, i give this content for free of cost to the world. however, incase if anyone publish this content as a book and claim that they are the authority of this observation, what would be the consequences? For example, This content can be published in any language, by hiding the origin and author of the book.

what is your opinion!

I have planned to translate and submit the content further though, would like to know your opinions on this concerning grounds. Smile
