cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
Dear Martijn, Lynn etc...
I have heard/read (Cheiero etc), that having a cross on the mount of Saturn means violent death/accident/ early death... Is this true or what does it mean? Or is there another meaning...my daughter seems to have a cross there.... do I need to worry???
I hope you can and will answer my question..
Best regards. :?

Re: cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
HI Mira,
Please don't worry about it. Many of these interpretations about "manners of death" date back about 500 - 600 years in palmistry literature, and most are no longer considered to be reliable. From memory I have 5 such markings, and so far I survived "death in youth" and "death in childbirth" (tho if I went thru the same experiences in 15th century, I guess they would have been true! Thank goodness for modern medicine!)
That isn't to say that your daughter has to go thru some difficult experience in order to survive it!
I notice you said "my daughter seems to have a cross there." - the old literature talks about independent crosses. Maybe your daughter doesn't even have such an independent cross? eg perhaps it is the fate line crossed by girdle of venus or some such. Are you able to post a picture please, so we can see the formation on your daughter's mount of saturn that you are asking about?

Re: cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
Dear Lynn,
Thank you so much for your reply... I have checked her hand and she has a cross on the mount of Saturn which is independent. Unfortunately I do not have the possibility of posting a photo of the hand.
Just to be sure: Do you still think that I do not need to worry eventhough the cross is independent ? ( I have been very worried about this)
Thanks
Warm regards

Thanks for answering my question . It has helped me a lot...
Just for curiousity: so how would a palmreader interpret a cross on the mount of Saturn.
Best regards,

Re: cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
Hi,
As a palm reader, it depends on the whole hand, how the other lines and mounts are developed and of what quality they are. I would suggest it is likely to be a part of an incomplete Girdle of Venus and small heart related learning lines.
I find people with a highly developed Mount of Saturn usually carry the worries of the world, and I particularly look at the Mount of Lunar to see activity there and the head line. This gives me a fair idea as to whether this is a last cry for help or recognition of the melancholia they suffer from.
Interestingly another cross under the Mount of Saturn, touching the head line on the quadrangle, increases the likelihood of bites from animals and exposure to explosions. I have one and have been bitten four times in one year by snakes, two spider bites, a dog bite and a horse bite!
A man who came to see me had a distinct cross and he had suffered severe burns as a result of the Bali explosion. Also another lady had one and I jokingly said to her that it may mean the above and she looked shocked- she was in the special police bomb squad and had just resigned!
A bit of fun, but I take St Germaine quite seriously!

Hello felicity,
I'm impressed with your replies in this forum. I expect you to contribute more discussion and share your ideas.
do you mean mystic cross in your last reply? does mystic cross produce such an ill effects like bites of animals? please explain bit.
I am interested to know which country you belongs to? I have never read st.germain. but, i heard that most of the western palmists tend to call his work as superstition. But, i dont think like that even i did not read his work. Hope, you will share lot of knowledge on palmistry with me in the future.
Hello mira,
Cross on saturn indicates tooth ache or tooth related problems in bio-palmistry . Hence, Taking care of tooth and bones , from the young age is good. If your daughter has accident line, she have to be aware of accidents. specially , it will be related to heel bones, leg bones or thigh bones. No major tragedy can be expected if the fate line does not pass through the cross on saturn.
p.s: Read about mythological stories of saturn from hindus and greeks. it may really help you than our prediction. If you learned the Shani(saturn) of hindu mythology, it will be your chance to know the saturn and also a way to explore indian culture. I have read many stories about Shani through googling. I recommend you the same.

Absolutely not Mira, so don't worry... as was stated previously those were the days where readers tended to sensationalise events in order to lock in sitters. And lines and markings change all the time and are also subject to all the other combination present in the hand. At worst if it is a cross rather than a section of a girdle of Venus with the very common short lines running up from heart lines, it may enhance the qualities of Saturn. A tendency to take life seriously- the accidents are related to the Plain of Mars, where life's battles are fought, just above the head line and touching it. And even there it shows only a possibility the person may be predisposed to accidents and bites.
As a mother, we tend to read the worst in to our children' s hands and cause ourselves a lot of angst which is largely unfounded.
Hope this cheers you up
A big hug
Felicity

Hi Stalin
and thank you for your generous comment, I don't think I deserve it. Thanks for your insight into the qualities of Saturn
The mystic cross is quite distinct as a separate marking, and usually well marked. It is not quite as well valued as the Ring of Solomon. If it is located near the Fate line it usually indicates the person will have a life long interest in spiritual matters. If it is located near the heart line usually the person is more superstitious, located medially or nearer the head line, the person is much more balanced and centred in their spiritual studies. It is not related, in my knowledge to bites and explosions.
I am in Mid North South Australia. I find 'The Practice of Palmistry' by Comte Saint Germaine a useful source of observations, and many of the ones I considered 'off the wall' have since turned up in hands and have had some surprising correlations. This applies to other authors as well. Times change and so too do hands, cultural impacts, environmental impacts all have a bearing on the predominance of certain hand types and consequent personality. For instance, the phalanges have changed for me when looking at Greek sculptures, old art, the third phalanges were dominant, where as now the first phalanges are longer than the old proportions.
This may be due to our shift from agrarian societies to urban technology driven societies.
Same as the Simian line was once rare, now it is quite common.
Who knows

Hello felicity,

The another cross , you mentions above, seems to be located on the place where exactly mystic cross is. Hence, I doubted that you were talking about mystic cross.
How to differentiate the mystic cross from the one which you mean?
- Thanks, stalin.v

Re: cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
Hi stalin v,
The crosses that I refer to are often small and sit on the head line- quite often more like a multiplication sign. The other that is found on the head line under Apollo sometimes is an indication of issues involving eyesight. I often don't comment as this is evidenced by glasses but had made the observation in a class to students, one of whom was a specialist based at Flinders Medical Centre, and was going on a world tour as he had developed a new lens for insertion in the eye and was most interested after I picked up the predisposition to macular degeneration etc by this marking even though he did not wear glasses but contact lenses. These are signs that I have read about in my time but have correlated with observations of hands of sitters.
The mystical cross theoretically should be independent of all lines.
People are always happy for reasons unjustified to have this sign, for it simply indicates an interest in the spiritual and is not as relevant as the line of intuition, triangles, the Ring of Solomon, sometimes the markings under Saturn, particularly a triangle, and more of a serious burden rather than a benefit, the star, which exaggerates the interest in the occult but also the melancholia,
Other people have probably lots of knowledge in this area and I would love insights from yourself and others. I know in Vedic palm reading there are a host of symbols that are relevant, like the fish, the flag, the tower etc.

Re: cross on mount of Saturn...Help...
Hello felicity,
Thanks for the clarification. I have read about fine cross on Quadtriangular space under the sun mount in indian palmistry,1895 written by j.b.dale. The indication has been related with fame in this book. Apart from this, i did not find any indication of this marking from other books. In my opinion, Cross signs should not be considered as bad marker always. especially when we find small and fine cross mark on the Quadtriangular space ie., cross on jupiter, mystic cross , and cross on Quadtriangular under the sun and mercury. but, if the cross mark falls on major or minor line , it produces ill-effects. The book which i mention above have notes on this variety of cross and lines on phalanges and interphalanges.
I welcome your opinion and others experience's in this regard.
