FAMOUS SIMIAN LINES - Which famous persons have a 'simian line'?

The simian line [or: 'simian crease'] has became famous for it's significance in Down's syndrome. Basically, it can be described as a 'fusion line' between the heart line and the head line (see the picture above). And it is probably the most well-known 'palmar crease'-variant. Another interesting aspect of the simian line is that the simian line also became recognized as a 'minor physical anomaly' (= MPA*).
* NOTICE: MPA's concern relatively harmless birth-marks; in some people an MPA can be recongnized as a 'marker' for a medical problem that they have, but these people usually also have other MPA's!! So, one can not attribute any specific meaning to a simian line in the hands of any person without considering other hand characteristics!!).
Basically, simian lines are relatively often (...but not always!!) featured with a specific variant of a medical- or psychological characteristic. At my website I have described an overview of these potential characteristics, see:
- medical problems associated with the simian line
- psychological characteristics associated with the simian line
However, I would like to dedicate this new topic about the simian line to on another group of 'simian line holders'... that is: the famous people who are known for having a simian line!!
Over the years, I have noticed that not very many 'outperformers' have a simian - but nevertheless, it is interesting to notice that in all cultures around the world you can find fascinating successfull people who have a simian line in one- or both hands.
Therefore, let's use this 'forum topic' to present photos of the hands of the most famous 'simian liners' around the world:
- FAMOUS SIMIAN LINE HOLDERS -
Here's my TOP 5 of the most successfull people who have a simian line (NOTICE: Simian lines are usually less 'problematic' + more common in the left hand; so it is probably not a coincidence in most of the famous 'simian line holder', the line is found in the left hand!!):
1 - Robert DeNiro (american actor - some people even consider him as the best actor of all times): he has a (complete) simian line in his left hand only.

2 - Tony Blair (British politician, former prime minister of the UK): he has a (complete) simian line both hands.

3 - Hillary Clinton (american politician - current minister of foreign affairs; she's the wife of former US president Bill Clinton): he has a (incomplete) simian line in her left hand only.

4 - Armin van Buuren (Dutch 'trance' disk-jockey, from 2007 to 2010 he has been voted as the most popular DJ around the world): he has a (complete) simian line in his left hand [not sure about his right hand, but likely the heart line doesn't touches his head line].

5 - Thom Yorke (English musician, leadsinger of the rockband Radiohead): he has an (incomplete) simian line in his right hand.

PS. Finally, here you can also find a nice overview of people who were at least once 'claimed' to belong to the group of 'famous simian line holders', but the photos display that the claim was not valid:

Re: FAMOUS SIMIAN LINES - Which famous persons have a 'simian line'?

Dear members... in this discussion you're very welcome to post photos of other famous people who have the simian line!!
(Meanwhile I will continue to search for other famous people and I will post them here as well!)
SOME OTHER EXAMPLES:
- Rain Wilson (american actor): he has a (complete) simian line in both hands.

Re: FAMOUS SIMIAN LINES - Which famous persons have a 'simian line'?
... By the way, some famous persons do not have true 'simian line', but sometimes they do have another unusual variant.
A FEW EXAMPLES:
- Muhammad Ali (american boxer, possibly the best of all times): he has in his right hand a 'single radial base crease' [NOTICE: He doesn't have a simian line because: he does have a complete head line! However, in both hands is his heart line connected to the starting point of his life line + head line]

simian line
Dear sir,
I ve been observing Simian Line for some time.
Real Life and on the web.
One observation , i see is in most of the palms, the Fate line does not seem to appear above the Simian line. It stops there.
Not in all the palms, but majority.
Am i right?
What is your opinion/ comment on it?
Warm regards,
Vijaya saradha

Re: FAMOUS SIMIAN LINES - Which famous persons have a 'simian line'?
Hello Vijaya saradha,
Yes, I think your observation is at least (partly) correct; in simian line hands the fate line more often does not reach above the simian line but I think this characteristic is seen in only a minority (not a majority) of simian line hands.
I also think that it is important to be aware of the following:
- in simian line hands the point where a fate line passes the simian line is usually located a little bit higher in the palm (compared to the point where a fate line passes the head line in non-simian line hands).
- in many non-simian hands the fate line also does not pass the head line as well!
Sorry, I have no solid statistics available but my estimate would be that 'short fates' lines are about twice more common in simian line hands (compared to non-simian line hands).

PS. By the way, in general: in photos the fate line is often not clearly visible while the simian line is nearly always very pronounced visible; this might suggest that the fate line does not pass the simian line... even in cases where it does pass the simian line. So I would not recommend to study this issue via low resolution photos or the hands of celebrities!
SIMIAN LINE & FATE LINE
Dear sir,
"Sorry, I have no solid statistics available but my estimate would be that 'short fates' lines are about twice more common in simian line hands (compared to non-simian line hands)."
Yes. I agree with the above said statement.
I was just trying to correlate this stoping of fate line b4 the Head line with , nature of Simian characteristics of people.....
Warm regards,
Vijaya saradha

Hi Vijaya Sardha,
This is not true that it always happen. But it usually happens. It depends on person to person. A good Fate Line with simian line makes the possessor a ‘well directed’ focused goal-oriented person.
I have also found the absence of longitudinal lines on the palms of many of my clients and that usually occur with simian lines, especially above these lines because, as I think, this is due to the lack of longitudinal flexibility in persons. The simian line reveals an intense side to the personality. Possessor of this line had worked with total focus on one object and rest exclude so far. It indicates an extremely intense nature. The line gives the ability to focus on one thing, absolutely, to the exclusion of all else. So, the possessors of simian lines are usually found without Fate Lines, especially above it because they are blocking the flexibility in them then by being very intensely forceful, goal-oriented, and egocentric and adamant at this age. Their oil had been burned already at this point of age and they may suffer from health problems too with general dissatisfaction. However, even a small but clear directional transverse line above the simian line can do wonders for the possessor. It means the intense side to the personality is giving way to flexibility to be happy and satisfied. They have learned to win a victory over their soul-psychology gracefully. Enjoy!
