Acupuncture and Hand Analysis For Health Issues
Hi Folks, I'm an acupuncturist and have been using some hand analysis to diagnose health issues. One of the instructors (Wei-Yen "Jimmy" Chang OMD) I have been studying under for continuing education credits did a short video presentation on hand analysis and put it on youtube. He is considered one of the best, if not the best, herbalist and diagnostician in my field. I thought some of you might find it interesting/useful.

To explain/understand what your seeing in the palm it may be useful to understand a few things about how an acupuncturist views these signs in the palm.
The definition of health to an acupuncturist is nutrient rich, highly oxygenated blood circulating freely to all tissues of the body. When this fails to happen certain features show up in parts of the body that are distal to the affected area. They are related through the nervous system's control of the blood flow in the body, and any problems will be reflected onto the hand (and ears, feet, legs, etc...many other distal areas on the body).
-An area of the body not receiving sufficient blood flow (or blood that is not nutrient and oxygen rich) will show up as a pale area in the pertinent area of the hand.
-An area where blood is chronically stagnant in the body, something akin to a bruise, shows up as a brown or purplish area in related parts of the hand.
-An area of relatively acute trauma or infection/inflammation in the body shows up as a red spot/area in a pertinent area of the hand.
-Tender or sensitive spots on the hand indicate pain in a related area of the body.
-A puffy, flaccid area in the palm indicates edema in a related part of the body.

Re: Acupuncture and Hand Analysis For Health Issues
It’s great to know about that an acupuncturist can do hand analysis to diagnose health issues. I will try to get more information about it from acupuncture port credit clinic which is near to my place so that I can take their help to cure my problems.

Ah! Even I know it. I got to know about it from private health management. They help me with it and also taught me. I use it whenever anybody at home has a minor pain in the body. It helps in relieving the pain. This is a good and informative post. I would like to share it with everybody.
