Via lasiva is also called Addiction line . But beside this there are many other lines which show addiction which can be drug /liquor/food etc . These Line are found on Mount of moon a wavy line on moon show deadly addition which can be dangerous for life .

Beside this we need to check the type of hand also.
If the hand is firm then the impact is lessened , but when soft and elastic its impact is felt fully for the person is given in to luxury

Yes Sai-sada but Via Lasiva Givesaddiciton certainly the quality of hand matter how deep person will get involve .

Addiction has one more sign on the hand and this is pointed out by Cheiro
When a branch seems to shoot off from the inner life line (Line of Mars) and runs on to the Mount of Luna , it foreshadows restlessness and an intense craving forexcitement. With a weak-looking Line of Mentality it is a sure sign of a craving for drink and intemperance of all kinds, and at the point where it breaks through the Line of Life, it generally indicates death brought on by the intemperance this mark foreshadows.
