Can you count to six... with just one hand?
This guy knows how to count to six... with just one hand!

Re: Can you count to six... with just one hand?
Here is a newspaper cutting from my palmistry scrapbook, from June 2000.
I think it is the same man in the video, Godfrey, who at age 72 was given his first pair of gloves!!

Re: Can you count to six... with just one hand?
The same newspaper in April 2000 featured this man and his baby son. Both have 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each foot.

Having extra fingers is known as polydactyly. I think it is quite rare for the extra digits to be perfectly formed as in this man, his baby and Godfrey above. Usually the extra digit is smaller, not in proportion, maybe set at an unusual angle, maybe not functioning etc.
My mum knew a girl who had an extra thumb on each hand. She used to suck all 4 thumbs at once!

Wow!
How would you read a hand like that?
I mean - as Lynn says, all the fingers are well developed, and you cannot say which one is the extra one.
