Book- 'Hands" by Yael Haft- Pomrock
Hi All, a new book based on Aspects of Opposition and Complementarity in Architypal Chirology.... by Isreali authoress who is a chiropsychologist and Founder of the Centre for the Study and Research of Modes of Consciousness. An interesting read and available through Daimon Verlag. She incorporates feminine entities to counter the single influence of the masculine in fingers etc.

Hi Felicity,
Thanks for introducing this title.... though it is a rather old book:
originally published in 1992 under the titled - preview version is available at Google Books:
'HANDS : Aspects of Opposition & Complementarity in Archetypal Chirology'
(But I have a hard-copy of this Haft-Pomrock book as well!)

Hello Sanjeev,
The books of Fincham and Cheiro belong to the most popular palmistry books today (both authors are listed in the most recommended palmistry books - by the experts in the Global Palm Reading Network).

Hi Felicity,
I have this book and another of her's, "Relationships in our Hands" 1999. Although I have yet to read them completely cover to cover, I have been inspired by her approach using archetypes when I'm looking through them in a reference like manner. Which isn't easy as her books are the type of books you should read from beginning to end.
She has some interesting information on heart lines that transverse the palm, page 114. It gives you another view point to think about (and google search) when she names such a heart line the "Apollo/Artemis" crease.

Thanks Martjin and Patti,
I also have realised I had forgotten Martjin that you, Lynne and Charles gave an excellent review of the book and other related books in the topic 'The Palms of Psychopaths'. Scientific American Mind, has a very interesting article on 'The Making of a Psychopath' which may direct us to a position where there may be distinctive markings on the hand and the thin line between artists and schizophrenia for memory. My father always thought my day dreaming, art and clairvoyance was a form of schizophrenia- I was the only member of the family not to be a doctor of note! Hated the sight of blood!
