How to be determined.

Here is a simple method to be determined. use it when u want to decide something big and feel hesitation.

Focus your mind on a point just underneath one of your eye.

PS: credit goes to Richard Bandler (he extracted this method from a Hindu yogi).

"Under the eye" immediately made me think of one of the tapping points in E.F.T.
I just looked it up and, in E.F.T, under eye correlates with stomach meridian.
Just wondered, by focussing the attention there, are we going with our 'gut feeling'. ?

yep it is an energy point used in EFT. "gut feeling" relation is interesting new info to learn for me.

I don't know for sure that it has anything to do with 'gut feeling'! It was just an association that came to my mind from discovering that under eye relates to 'stomach' ;-)

Third eye chakra is situated at the center portion of the forehead between the two eye brows.. it is related to fire energy. . . those who meditate in this chakra, will be furious. . . also it is the risky as well as easy way to attain 'kundalini', also called serpent power. . . Those who do it will be powered with intuition and prophecy or clairvoyance. It represent the supreme three eyed lord, siva. . It is highly appreciated to be practiced only to person who follow renunciation. . . Otherwise, it can affect your sexual life. . . like perversion, satyriasis, nymphomania so on. . . be careful and it is not fun .. i have personal experience followed by experienced sexual maniac behaviour for 6 months. . . as i failed to get teacher for this. . . It is a purely meditation part and psychic vibration. . .

we did not miss locate the point for determination focus. it is just under the eye. The one you are telling is different and is carrying other meaning. Also it is not meditation, it is just simple focus.

damn it, i just missed this meditation point by 2 inches. i will check it out...

Hindu yogis seem to have v good knowledge of energy movement in body but it is sad that they guard it like a trade secret and only tell after getting years and years of service and pretend as if your service just preparing you for something big. which infact is very simple.

Yes stalin, if you read it properly you will see we are not talking about the 'psychic' 3rd eye chakra between the eyebrows, we are talking about the stomach meridian 'under the eye'.

hi Lynn;

EFT is good technique to remove energy blocks in body. Any tension or problem is seen as energy block and one is advised to tap gently at these points while thinking and feeling about the problem. It is a really simple, effective and easy method and one can find a lot by a little googling.

NLP is composed of Neuro + Linguistics + Programming.

Neuro part identify different habits and check its right or wrong impact on someone. because each habit produce a neuron channel in brain which trigger in a loop along with the habit. If you run a memory backward then its associated neuron channel is disrupted and associated feeling circuit is broken. Then we can see the same memory with different emotions and feelings.

Linguistic part look for the patterns in language one use plus syntax and predicates they use to identify their learning style. It is real fun to use linguistic to solve problems. NLP look for paradox in one's language. For example confused people are absolutely sure that they are confused.... Depressed says they have depression but can not tell where they have put it.... Phobics will become very daring to avoid phobic situation...... Schizophrenics can tell what is real and what is imaginary which is a kinda paradox because we think they are lost in imagination and believe it real.

Programming part combine Neuro and linguistics and identify different strategies people use to solve a problem. Also give us fast ways to unlearn and learn new habits. Hypnosis is integral part of programming.

Happy to know that it worked for you. It works for me. Today focusing underneath the eye gave extra mileage on treadmill (though fainted afterward).. tomorrow i will keep water bottle handy.
