For those of you who are interested in astrology
This is a link to some interesting astrological research. 1200 or so left handed people were studied to see what astrological markers they had in common... http://astroinvestigators.com/leftiesframe.htm
Re: For those of you who are interested in astrology
Mark, you posted this topic inside forum section Ib - which is meant for new members' introduction posts only; the forum section(s) VIII at the bottom of the homepage are designed for topics that do not relate to hands nor hand reading.
Therefore I have moved this topic to a more appropriate forum section (VIIId). And I would like to ask you to read the description of the forum-sections... in order to avoid that your post will disappear between other unrelated topics.

PS. I think this study does not reveal much at all... especially since the data does not appear to include a solid comparison between lefthanded- and righthanded people. The data in the table is also a bit confusing, because the data appears to be a comparison with a 'generated control group' (???)... but the report does not describe at all how the control group was selected (one can only wonder whether the control group is righthanded or not).
Therefore I would welcome to see your thoughts about that astrology-study - especially since the authors wrote:
"The intention of this study is not to draw conclusions about why certain astrological indicators are prominent in the charts of lefties."
Did you notice those words, Mark?

ok, thanks. I only have a few free hours and am rushing to accomplish a lot. Should the other posts I made today be placed somewhere else also?

yes, I noticed. I have no conclusions about how to relate this to palmistry, however, as an astrologer, I will be looking at the charts of left handed clients more closely in the future. I think Alphee's site in general will be interesting to anyone with a knowledge of astrology. I assumed that members who call themselves astropalmists or also practice astrology will be interested in his research.
Re: For those of you who are interested in astrology
Thanks for explaining your thoughts about that study, Mark.

PS. I hope my point regarding the description of the forum section(s) made sense?
