Hi,
I would like to know if this is the Fish symbol on the mount of Ketu. It is present on the life line on right hand and it is also found on the left hand of the same person touching the life and liver line. What is the interpretation of this symbol.
Thanks,
Krishna veni

Re: Is this the fish symbol
You have posted only one palm image, Where is the other one? And even the image you have posted is not of full palm. Please note that if a fish is present, which is supposed to be a good sign then there will be counter effect in your palm elsewhere too. It cannot be that one indication is very positive and another one in your palm somewhere else is not a good sign at all. People get carried away by what may appear to them as fish sign and get deceived so many times as fish has to be a proper fish sign.

Re: Is this the fish symbol
I think the concept of fish is often overused inappropriately. It is mainly believed by traditional hindu palmistry, the modern(english) one does stress on this too much. Hindu palmistry sees a well defined fish at the base of hand as sign of great prosperity and money. But as Pravin sir has mentioned; it should be read along with other features in the palm.

Which kind of other features are there?
Dear all,
All of your opinion are valuable. However, I would like to ask what other features are for a good fish sign.
Thanks & Regards,
Janet

Hello Janhealth,
Unfortunately there is no consensus regarding how to recognize a 'fish' symbol... and for this reason one might describe the 'fish' theory to represent a myth.
However, the constellation in your hand does not stand on it's own (because it involves the life line and 5th finger line) and should therefore not get associated to represent a fish symbol... for any symbol is always required to stand on it's own.

PS. In the following topic I have presented some visual examples which have been associated to represent 'fish' symbol:

Re: Is this the fish symbol
Dear Martijn,
Thanks for your reply. I have heard various kinds of description about the "fish" symbol. Some said that "fish symbol" only appear at the end of the life line. Is it true?
You said that "fish symbol" does also appear on the mount of moon. What does it look like? Do you have visual examples? How about other parts of hand? Will other parts of hand have "fish symbol"?
Some said that "fish symbol" is very rare. About one of 1 billion will have "fish symbol". Is it true?
Thanks & Regards,
Janet

Re: Is this the fish symbol
There is a difference of opinion on fish symbol. One says it appears only at the end of life line and on the Mount of Moon since fish can be seen only in water. Another opinion is it can appear anywhere in the palm. Third opinion is that fish has to be proper fish with eyes and shape and tail, so I sum up all three and say that if you have a fish sign you won't be even here to ask that question for you will be very successful in life. Are you? Now this fish sign requires confirmation from elsewhere in the palm that you are have a successful and prosperous life. That will only convince me that you have the fish sign.
