Girl from Myanmar (Burma) has 12 Fingers + 14 toes... a brand new Guinness World Record!

Earlier this week a report was made about a 16 month old girl living in Burma:
she has 12 fingers + 14 toes!!
Wow... sounds like a brand new Guinness World Record, because Devendra Harne from India is today still known as the official record holder - but he only has 12 fingers + 13 toes; the official record is described here:

More reports about other people who have a rather unusual number of fingers & toes:
http://www.handresearch.com/news/devendra-harne-has-12-fingers-and-13-toes.htm
And we also have another topic available that relates to the issue of people who have 'polydactyly' (= supernumerary fingers):
Can you count to six with just one hand?

The boy had unprecented 31 digits, which included 15 fingers and 16 toes! But I am not sure that it would have been recognized as a world record because obviously in the fingers there is 'syndactly' involved, which implicates that not all fingers would have been counted - just like in the case of Heramb Ashok Kumthekar:

The Chinese boy's family did not go to apply for a Guinness World Record, rather sent him to Shengjing Hospital affiliated with China Medical University in Shenyang recently to undergo a surgery to remove the extras because he suffered from the inconvenience in the daily life and also being ridiculed from peers of the same age at his school.
The hours-long operation was quite successful. Doctors removed the index finger and the middle one of three fused fingers on both hands (also the one at the end of the right thumb) and the outer three additional digits on his feet. He was expected to have a full recovery within half a year.

A one-year-old boy in India has broken a world record after being born with 34 fingers and toes.
Akshat Saxena had seven fingers on each hand and ten toes on each foot, according to a spokesman for Guinness World Records.

Wow, I don't think palmistry covers any extra fingers except that these children are special,.. and hopefully will at least make some cash from the photos!

Wow... 34 finger + toes is far beyond the old record, thanks for adding the report!

PS. Great to see that doctors are trying to take care well of this boy:
"... Akshat was born last year without thumbs so doctors are working to reconstruct these out of the fingers they have removed."
