Dear Martijn,
I agree with you opoinion by only having a look at the Jupiter finger: Very short and bended. All not a sign for a really self-confident leader (of that former leader of the secret service).
His power may only come from a lot of positiv feedback of some crowd (a collective) in any kind. - Good advicers or director around him are very needed, he cannot manage it without it. And there is a danger to be a game ball of some important political forces or influences around him.
The Apollon finger is very long, therefore I would await a big risk taker or even a kind of gambling nature. The empathy (as a kind of perception) is one of his strength, the oral abilities are not significant.

Cairo, Egypt (CNN) -- President Hosni Mubarak has decided to stand down as president of Egypt, Vice President Omar Suleiman announced on state television Friday.

Suleiman said the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces will "run the affairs of the country".

I agree with you and think Suleiman hasn't any chance.
But I'm still interesting in Baradei, not only because his atoms things, but because his hands speak for a powerful person. It would be nice and intersting to find a good palm picture. May be we'll see more.

Egypt: Amr Moussa as a presidential candidate now official

The general secretary, born 3 October 1936, is an Egyptian diplomat. Since 2001 he has been the Secretary-General of the Arab League, a 22-member forum representing Arab nations. Now he said for the first time officially, that he is going to be one of the candidates of the next presidental ellection in Egypt.

Since last week it has been known that he resigned from his office. Since then he is said to be one of the possible candidades for the Egypt president office.
The military of Egypt is going to organize an ellection within the next six months after the resignation of president Mubarak.

Now Martijn, I would like to be ahead of the time.

My first choice for president is : AMR MOUSSA.

I'm shure he will be a real potetial ruler and more level-headed than Baradai.

Hi All, and thanks to you Martijn and Manfred for the photos!
Mubarak has a hand typical of many in leadership, very much an earth hand, and from his heart line ending under Saturn very self focused, there is not much indication of being a dictator but for me an incapacity to see beyond what he feels is the appropriate path. Often dictatorship is strongly indicated in the index finger with a long strong third phalange... but there is a strong Aries aspect. A robust Mount of Venus, lends itself also to a strong focus on the self directed agenda...
Far more dangerous for me is Suleiman , yes a dangerous individual with the strongly curved index finger almost indicating a pathological need for control, the very close head and heart lines indicates a very secretive personality and the short head line a capacity to focus on one thing and one thing only... not much empathy there! The masculine ratio indicates a capacity for strategic planning and control. Also very closed in his outlook due to the close spacing of his fingers. That he is favored by the West, yet he is a violent dictator is nothing new!
El Baradai or AMR Moussa would definitely be my choice but I am not sure whether someone with diplomatic skills would survive long in the Middle east which is strongly driven by passion about religion, political direction and personal drives... we, in the west seem asleep emotionally compared to the Middle East. He would maybe a better leader in the West, his hands indicate a great pride in his society, a strong intellectual approach, but I am worried that there is a great need for sheer physical strength, as indicated in the lower aspect of the hands of the former candidate and dictator to survive the frustrations and setbacks of leadership.
