Nail Ridges

I ask about the beading because over the last few years I have developed it on my thumb nails, and as I have whorls on index and ring fingers was a little concrned about those age related disorders, in particular rheumatism as I vaguely remeber an increased risk with whorls in women on those fingers- I have had outbreaks of arthritis, but the fish oil settles it down.
Theother is the interesting sub nail markings, which I also believe you covered, in some cases I had found the vertical line present- like a small blood vessel under the nail in the cases of heart conditions, but are the nails specific to the area of the body affected? When it was heart -myocarditis, they seemed to be on the index finger- is their any study relating to nails and body position- I have read about anecdotal correllations?

Sorry- I meant endocaritis- with the splinter like markings under the nail, the reason I ask is one I have encountered with a small marking, curved, under the little finger nail and the person has quite a nasty inflammation in the left ankle,

The other area I have found correlations with is severe gastric disorders with quite red, multiple line disturbances at the area of the lower part of the hepatica on the Sub thenar mount...also an alarming trend in people under 25 with severe ulceration and consequent removal of the bowel- I can't help thinking of the work relating to severe reactions in rats to BT potatos when they used the cauliflower mosaic virus in Genetically engineered crops like corn etc, and studies revealing the interaction of this viral genetic fragment in making polyps in the bowel more aggressive in growth, increased malignancy and resistance... I have had four people from immediate aquaintenances 14 - 22 years in the last two years, all boys.
