indian palmistry and the thumb
Hi guys
Having read this thread I'm not entirely sure this is the right place for this post but as you seem to know something about indian palmistry you may be able to help
I have read in the past that indian palmists sometimes just read the thumb. how could i find out more about this...what they look for in the thumb and so on?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance
many thanks
mike

Re: indian palmistry and the thumb
Dear Mike,
Long long time back I was asked to read the palm of a boy who got divorced. His father, who had asked me to read the palm, just looked at my thumb nail and predicted something which was 100% correct. I asked him how did he do it? He replied "Siddhi" He could not read his son's future though as otherwise his son would not have been divorced. However if you want to read about thumb in detail do read "The Laws of Scientific Hand Reading" By William G Benham.

Re: indian palmistry and the thumb
I have a book in my collection called "Your Destiny in Thumb" by R. G. Rao. (Indian System of Thumb Reading with 200 Illustrations)
I haven't actually read it but have looked through it a number of times. So I can't comment on its accuracy. You may find it interesting. The illustrations are good.

Sidhhi?

I also know some palmist who tells something like you mentioned with 101% accuracy. and tells always that all thing I knows I studied in books which is unavailable or out of print now.He does guide me that If yo do some karmic action then you will be able tell like me. But I have never done that. If you do not have text confirmation or told by learned people how GOD teach or tell something like that eventually merely by doing Sidhhi. Sidhhi only increases intuition power and see probability or future of occurrence more visible to them. It also increases confidence in a MAN.

Re: indian palmistry and the thumb
I studied this a little, mainly the line in the middle of the thumb, often seen or named as a grain of rice. I kept an eye on my own grain of rice and to my surprise this line changes all the time along with our life changes. I can see how a simple reading can be done by the thumb alone, and it's very interesting.
Re: indian palmistry and the thumb
Sari,
My grain of rice has not changed since last several years (smile). Actually what I meant in the reply that I gave earlier was this elderly gentleman saw my thumb nail and predicted something which was 100% truth. He could not predict the divorce of his youngest son through the thumb nail perhaps and that is why he asked me to read his son's palm for future marriage, whether it will be successful or not. This reading of the nail of the thumb is what he called as Siddhi. Siddhi is some intuitional power by which you can see certain things very clearly.

Re: indian palmistry and the thumb
Respected Tajenderji ,
You are right it very difficult to understand all the meaning and use of the thumb at a glance. Simultaneously it is not ease to me to explain the entire thing over here. I am using this in regular practice and depend on circumstances. In horary palmistry I use frequently.
