Intellectual Property Rights

Post  Patti on Mon Feb 20, 2012 4:09 am

Recently we've had a couple of discussions about the importance of giving credit when we are quoting other people's material. This is even more important since the powers that be are working hard trying to pass one restriction after another (PIPA, SOPA and ACTA) to our use of the internet.

Although this video's topic is about GMO foods and intellectual property rights or monopolies, there is a clip of a woman that speaks at 5 minutes in who is from India which gives us a perspective (at 6 and 7 minutes) regarding claiming ownership over property and information.
