HAND SIGNALS of a famous night club owner in Manhattan, New York City!

Post  Martijn (admin) on Fri Nov 12, 2010 2:31 am

HAND SIGNAL 1: “Get them a bottle of perfume.”

A LIFE report about a series of eight 'hand signals' used by New York night club owner Sherman Billingsley - amazing name!. New York City's 'The Stork Club' was a famous hot spot Manhattan night club, and operated continuously from 1929-1965.

The meaning of Sherman Billingsley's eight 'hand signals' is sometimes quite surprizing; you can find more details at:
HAND SIGNALS – The body language of Night Club owner Sherman Billingsley (1944)

HAND SIGNAL 3: “Get them out & don’t let them in again.”

HAND SIGNAL 8: “The music in the main dining room is too loud.”
