Yes Cheiro did believe in reincarnation, because in his book about numerology he claims to have found 'evidence' for reincarnation :
http://books.google.nl/books?id=V3CAeikQ074C&pg=PA83&dq=Cheiro+reincarnation&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Blw-VKK0G8rfONTvgOAI&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Cheiro%20reincarnation&f=false
(Though I am not sure that he ever talked about reincarnation in the perspective of palmistry, actually I think he never did)
PS. Personally, I think Cheiro's (numerology) 'evidence' claim can simply be attributed to coincidence; Cheiro's observation can be recognized to represent an example of the psychological phenomenon called 'apophenia' (which is like recognizing the the shape of sheeps in the coulds is a likewise example):

By the way, in general reincarnation represents a religious/philosophical concept because it is basically a fundamental matter of 'belief' - just like the existence of God can not be proven, reincarnation can also not be proven.
I think the scientific concept of evolution (Darwin) can be recognized to represent a more sophisticated variant of the superstitious concept of reincarnation (because meanwhile there is no mechanism known to modern science that would enable a personality to survive death and travel to another body - even though genetic energy does develop across species... it never does in the manner that is suggested by the concept of reincarnation).

Of course, we can never know the answer to this question, as we can't ask him.....
Anything you write here Martijn is just speculative nonsense !
Even with a long and thorough exploration of the terms and then an analysis of how he used them and what he meant by his correct (or incorrect) usage of them, we still are going to know.
Focus people !!!

Christopher, I have basically only answered the question by pointing out to Cheiro's book titled 'Cheiro's Numerology' where Cheiro describes his 'evidence' regarding the issue of reincarnation.
Now Christopher, please specify where I presented the 'nonsense'... because you have not specified why you disqualified my to henryalfred's question..
PS. To me it appears that you likely misread/misunderstood my response, because as a matter of facts I have only pointed out to the fact that Cheiro has talked about reincarnation inside his book about numerology. The book 'Cheiro's Numerology' is a re-publication of Cheiro's work 'Cheiro's Book of Numbers'.
Re: Did cheiro believe in reincarnation or resurrection?
In matters of reincarnation, but not related to Cheirio, there was a book about a man who did hypnosis and got its patients to describe past lives. A man suffered throat problem and his past life wander through hypnosis he recalled to be a woman killed by an arrow. ... at the throat. That man also talked about his death as a woman and described those "heaven called " places by some.
I can't endorse as not having attended those sessions. However sth to think about.
I precise human memory is incredible and can act tricky . With making up memories sometimes totally wrong and questions asked by a hypnotherapist can influence and induce a specific answer!

Why did you ask about Cheirio and his belief?
