THE SPICE GIRLS - A hand cast tribute from Madame Tussauds!

Post  Martijn (admin) on Sun Aug 01, 2010 4:51 pm

Remember the 'Spice Girls'?

The British teen pop group was formed in 1994 - and they are probably still the most successfully 'produced' music project of all times. Later they were credited for being the pioneers that paved the way for the commercial breakthrough of teen pop in the 1990s.

The first album, 'Spice', sold more than 23 million copies worldwide, and is still known as the best-selling album by a female group in music history. They have sold over 75 million records worldwide with only four albums and twelve singles, making them the most successful British band since The Beatles and the best selling girl group of all time.

Below you can study the hand casts of: Emma Bunton ('baby spice'), Mel G ('scary spice'), Victoria Beckham ('posh spice'), and Mel C ('sporty spice'); which are all presented at Madame Tussauds - London. Only Geri's handcast is missing... (not sure that it has made ever).

Unfortunately, there is no hand cast available for the 5th 'spice girl'.

And finally...
