There is the book:

"Foot Analysis, The Foot Path to Self Discovery" by Avi Grinberg

I have the book, but haven't actually studied it or put into practice what I've read, so can't comment on its value.

Not off hand (or foot Wink )

But you could try using the word 'plantar' instead of foot in your searches.

Feet have much less nerve endings (in humans) than the hands and the creases change after birth.

There are beach-side feet readers out there. Very Happy

Hi Stalin,

I can recommend the book 'Anthropology of Crease Morphogenesis', chapters 10, 13, 15 and 16 are about the foot creases:
http://books.google.com/books?id=3pzhaonObMMC&

(You can start reading from page 187, where the chapter 10 begins: 'Plantar crease forumulations')

Example of adult foot prints:

We once decided to take ink prints of our feet in a palmistry class. After we'd put the ink on, we realised we had to walk to the kitchen or bathroom to wash our feet. DOH! Footprints all over my floor!
Some huge dermatoglyphic plantar patterns! I think I've got a big whorl on big toe mount Laughing

Stalin, this is what toe reader Imre Somogyi writes in his book, titled: 'Reading Baby Toes' (see page 47: http://books.google.com/books?id=4JUpyt69LkwC& ):

"A palm reader interprets the lines in the palm of the hand to predict someone's future, whereas a toe reader examines someone's personality and character based on the size, shape and position of the toes."

NOTICE: I am not sure if other toe readers do use the lines of the feet, but I do know that Imre Somogyi is a pioneer in the field of toereading... so I would not be surprized if foot reading has hardly ever been used for 'predicting the future'.

PS. Somogyi describes here the 'classic' definition of the word palm reader; the modern variant would mention that many hand reading experts today focuss on the same purpose described by Somogyi: 'personality and character'.

Hello All

You all make such interesting topics for observation/interpretation. Very thot provocking. It made think about the connection of expression between my hands ( palmistry analysis) and how my feet look( express) the same issues I am experiencing in practical life. I have both toe bones deformed, turned into toes, which seems to effect my body balance, which seems to reflect my problems in psychological balance, as reflected in the lines of hands. How did this occur? I see relation in how I was physically and emotionally restricted/restrained as a child.

Do you see connections too, or am I way too wild here? Or off topic?

Hi Stalin
Next month I will be in Sedona, AZ and will be having a "Holistic Pedicure" with a lady who also does toe readings. Her web site states for toe readings

"Toe Reading is an understanding that the angles, textures, & contours of the toes are physical manifestations of the path a person's life has taken. Toes are one of the places our bodies holds the hologram of our stories and emotions. Getting a toe reading opens your awareness to You. It gives you answers to questions like: "Am I walking my destiny?", "Can I get back on my path?" I believe knowledge is power and the more we truly know ourselves the more expansive and wonderful a life we can create. Toes do change as you do! Change yours today with a reading"

I will ask her if she knows anything about the predictive aspects of foot lines.

PS
A link she promotes (on facebook) is

Just thinking out loud here, but I think that there would be a direct connection to your toes affecting your body balance and psychological balance.

Some signals that the cells, in the different pads of the feet, send back and forth about which way is up and which way is down, with every touch of different parts of the foot the brain is working with the foot to understand it's position, it's 'footing'. And if you're out of balance the brain signals to move out your arms to find balance.

You would be adjusting from a 'normal' step to one that compensates for the bent toe. This would be reflected all the way up your body.

Do you ever visit a body worker that does alignments?

A friend told me about a pair of shoes that I want in magenta!
